Distilled in India from Himalayan juniper and local botanicals, HAPUSA is a gin that is exclusively from India.
In Sanskrit, juniper is called “Hapusa” and it is this that gives our gin not only its name but also its untamed aroma and taste. Found near the snow line in the Himalayas, this elusive juniper berry provides a beautiful structure around which the rest of our botanists are purposely arranged.
Hapusa, is a sip of gin that can be enjoyed alone or with ice. The inclusion of turmeric and mango makes it one of the few salty gins found today. The distillers, Anand Virmani and Jay Dhawan, strongly recommend drinking Hapusa with a coffee liqueur, such as our Negroponte or with ice and tonic topped with 15ml of cold dark roasted coffee.
